Jazeera Airways increases the number of flights between Bengaluru and Hyderabad

Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost airline recently increased the frequency of its direct from Bangalore and Hyderabad. The airline now operates 4 flights per week from Bengaluru, and 6 flights per week from Hyderabad. Previously the airline operated two and three flights a week to these popular destinations. Since launching its India operations in October 2017 with Hyderabad, Jazeera Airways has progressively expanded to serve six Indian cities. Currently, the airline offers 24 direct flights each week from India to Kuwait and other destinations. For the summer season this year, Jazeera Airways has introduced two new European destinations – Belgrade in Serbia and Tirana in Albania and will also resume flights to Prague, Czech Republic and Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The airline also recently launched flights to Larnaca in Cyprus, Sphinx in Egypt, Tivat in Montenegro and Shiraz in Iran while doubling the frequency of flights to Riyadh. With over 66 destinations, including Tblisi, Istanbul, Baku and Cairo, Jazeera Airways continues to be a popular choice for travellers from India. Nok Air has launched maiden direct thrice weekly flight from Hyderabad to Bangkok Nok Air has unveiled its maiden flight service to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok. Hyderabad Aviation Summit to be organised in March by FTCCI and GMR

Daily non-stop flights from Rajkot to Goa, Hyderabad with SpiceJet

Indian LCC SpiceJet has introduced daily non-stop flights from Rajkot to Goa and Hyderabad. Flights will depart Rajkot at 14:00 hrs for Goa and at 19:45 hrs for Hyderabad. The return flight from Goa will depart at 17:05 hrs and that from Hyderabad will depart at 06:05 hrs. The carrier has also added to its Rajkot-Mumbai frequency, departing at 07:30 hrs and 05:40 hrs, respectively.

Hyderabad expected to recover closest to pre-COVID traffic, Mumbai to be furthest behind

CAPA India reveals that among PPP airports, Hyderabad is expected to recover closest to pre-COVID traffic at 31.3 per cent, while Mumbai will be the furthest behind at 52.3 per cent. This is according to its updated outlook for airports for FY2022. And though Mumbai’s recovery underperforms other metro airports, it may be possible for the airport to accelerate during the year and achieve higher volumes.

IndiGo launches door-to-door baggage transfer service, starting from INR 630

IndiGo has joined hands with CarterPorter, to launch ‘6EBagport’, to provide door to door baggage delivery service starting April 1, 2021 in New Delhi and Hyderabad. The service, which starts at a nominal rate of INR 630 for one way, will subsequently be launched in Mumbai and Bengaluru as well. Passengers can book the service from the comfort of their homes. The facility will enable passengers to travel worry-free as CarterPorter will transfer their baggage contactless from one destination to another with added assistance inside the terminal. Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo said, “We are continuously striving to enhance our customer service and this collaboration is a step further towards providing a one-stop hassle-free experience. The service will bring relief to customers who may want to travel with additional baggage from home to airport or would like to go for a meeting directly from airport without carrying bags. Our partnership with CarterPorter will ensure that our customers have a seamless experience as their baggage gets transferred door to door while they fly onboard our lean, clean flying machine”.
