Vijender brings over 18 years of extensive experience in Front Office operations, having worked with leading hospitality brands such as Radisson, Ramada, ITC, and Marriott. A graduate of Kerala University and a Diploma holder in Hotel Management, Vijender has built a strong career through his passion for delivering outstanding results, consistent focus on guest satisfaction, and team leadership. He has successfully overseen key operational areas including revenue forecasting, occupancy planning, VIP guest services, and policy implementation. Mr. Dinesh Rai, General Manager, Crowne Plaza Kochi said, “We’re truly excited to have Vijender join us. Crowne Plaza Kochi announced the appointment of Jerin Jose as Executive Housekeeper. With over 16 years of experience in housekeeping management, Jerin has worked with prestigious brands such as Hilton, Marriott, and The Rain Tree Hotels. His expertise spans quality assurance, inventory control, budgeting, and expense management, alongside strong skills in time management, communication, and team development. Jerin is recognised for achieving a perfect cleanliness score in his career. Dinesh Rai, General Manager, expressed excitement about his appointment, confident that Jerin’s leadership will elevate service standards. We welcome Jerin to the IHG family!    

Tittu Koikkaran , the Director of Sales & Marketing at Crowne Plaza Kochi, has been recognized as the best commercial leader on the property across all IHG hotels in the IMEA region. The prestigious award was presented by Mr. Tarek Labib, Head of Director – IMEA, along with Mr. Simon Augustus, Director of Commercial – IMEA Luxury & Lifestyle, and Mr. Morris Ryan, Regional Sales Director – IMEA. This accolade signifies Koikkaran exceptional leadership and strategic acumen in driving sales and marketing efforts at the hotel. Dinesh Rai, the General Manager of Crowne Plaza Kochi, expressed his pride in the achievement, stating that it is a great honor for the entire team. Such recognition also highlights the commitment of Crowne Plaza Kochi to excellence in hospitality and customer service within the IMEA region.  

K.C. Chandrahasan, Managing Director, Kerala Travels Interserve, is the stalwart to enter the Gallery of Legends at the 4th South India Travel Awards in Kochi. A visionary in the travel and tourism industry, he has been the President of TAAI- Kerala Chapter as well as the Chairman of Air Passenger Association of India. A renowned author of several Malayalam plays and writer and director of two Malayalam films, Chandrahasan has even won a National Award for ‘The Thekkady Tiger Trail’ project. He is one of the brains behind Interserve, which was reckoned as Indian travel industry’s answer to the inundation of multinational companies in India.

The fourth edition of South India Travel Awards was held at Crowne Plaza Kochi, Kerala on May 2. Achievers from the travel and tourism industry of South India were awarded in total of 47 categories. Attended by the who’s who of the region, the Chief Guest for the evening was Dr. A. Jayathilak, Chairman, Spices Board of India. Other dignitaries present during the inauguration ceremony were  K.C.
